Gym policy

The gym facility is owned and maintained by the church on a priority basis first for church functions.  Guests are welcome at times when there are no conflicts. NOTE: If someone from the church has reserved the gym facilities and you are asked to leave or cooperate in any other way, please do or you may forfeit use of the facilities.

 The following rules are guildelines for gym use:

• Social activities on Sunday are limited to those connected with the services of our church and its parish families and will not include sports activities such as basketball, volleyball, roller skating, etc., except as part of regularly scheduled Wesleyan Youth or children's programming.
• Stay out of all side rooms except the restrooms.  Shut all side doors while playing in  gym.
• No activities or sports ball playing in the lobby.
• No kicking or throwing hard balls.  All damage must be reported and paid for (example:lights, chairs). Damage may result in suspension of privileges for the individual or entire group.  No kickball or battleball is to be played except with nerf balls.
• No floor hockey.
• There is to be no use of tobacco products, use of alcoholic beverages, use or possession of illicit drugs, dancing, or gambling in our facilities.
• No sitting or standing on small chairs.
• No sitting or standing on tables.
• Place all sports equipment in the storage area after use.
• Turn out all lights before leaving.
• No activities after 10:30 pm.
• The church is not responsible for personal items lost or left.
• Students under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by an adult and comply with the child abuse prevention policy.

A copy of facility policies will be given to each non-church organization to sign and date before access to the building will be granted.
